Suggested Routes

*** There may be less of a wait to cross the border at the Lubec/Campobello crossing.***

From points south and west:
Travel Route 1 to Lubec, then Campobello, then the ferry to Deer Island.  From Deer Island go to L’etete (Mascarene) take Rte. 772 (Mascarene Rd.) to St. George. At the intersection of Rte. 1 take a left heading east to Rte.127 to Bocabec, Chamcook, and St. Andrews. Leaving St. Andrews take a left and go out Rte.127 north to Bayside and Rte. 1.  Watch for signs for St. David’s Ridge, then St. Stephen and Calais. From Calais head south on Rte. 1 to Robbinston and at Rte. 190 head down to Eastport. On Route 1 head south to Pembroke and Lubec.

From points north and east:
From St. George, travel Rte. 772 to L’etete. Take the ferry at L’Etete to Deer Island, then the ferry from Deer Island to Campobello Island. Cross the border into Lubec, head north on Rte. 1 to Pembroke.  Take Rte. 190 to Eastport.  Leaving Eastport, travel north on Rte.1 to Robbinston and Calais. Cross the border into St. Stephen, watch for signs for St. David Ridge, and onto to St. Andrews. Take  Rte. 127 into St. Andrews on the west side of the peninsula and follow 127 east toward Chamcook, Bocabec and onto St. George.

Coming from Bangor:
Travelling from Bangor on Rte. 9 Take 192 at Wesley left to Machias.  Head up Route 1.

If you want to cross into Canada through Calais, go to Eastport first. Then up Route 1 to Calais, St. Stephen and then to St. Andrews on Rout e127.  Leave St. Andrews on Rte 127 to Chamcook hrough Bocabec and into St. George. At L ’Etete take the ferry to Deer Island and Campobello, cross into the US at Lubec.

Coming from St. John:
Route 1 through Bocabec or go to St. Stephen and Calais.
